Pumpkin spends time as a purée in the purgatory of our freezer.
Small portions get paroled and experience life as a hearty soup.

Revitalized by cousins Lauren and Naomi, Pumpkin lives again as moist, delicious pumpkin bread.

November 23, 2010
Pumpkin becomes the grand finale at our Thanksgiving feast.

From now on, Pumpkin's presence in this world is but a sweet memory. . . . . mmmmmm PUMPKIN PIE!

Tuesday Thanksgiving

We had an early Thanksgiving this year so that we could celebrate with family.

I helped Naomi make whipped cream.

Uncle Ben was in charge of the turkey.

Lauren kept Pau busy/sleeping.

The table was beautiful. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, cranberry sauce and stuffing.

My favorite part was desert. . . Pumpkin Pie and whipped cream!

Almost Roommates

I keep telling Papa that I want to share my room with Pau. Today I decided I'd really like to share a crib. Apparently I have to wait until he's bigger. I'll try to be patient.

Having Fun with Uncle Ben and My Cuzins

We are lucky to have a visit from Uncle Ben and our cousins Naomi (left) and Lauren (right).

Lauren didn't waste any time and went straight for holding baby Pau. She was not afraid of his crying and successfully calmed him like a pro.

Uncle Ben jumped in, too. He folded laundry and changed diapers. What a hero!

Naomi cooed to Pau after she read me a story and put me down for my nap.

and they both sang with us and played games. . . I can't wait for tomorrow when we can hang out together some more!

Pau's First Bath

At first he really didn't like it

Then Papa figured out he should be submerged in the warm water instead of just hanging over it in the bathtub sling. That was clever and Pau appreciated it.

In the end it all turned out OK. And clean.

And I slept through it all.

My First Hair Cut

Papa gave me my first haircut.

He used electric clippers. . . .

which really tickles!

But the best part by far was when he let me do it myself! You know what they say about hair. . . it always grows back!
