Today I helped Brenda and Antonio to pick potatoes from Anna´s garden. At first I thought they were rocks.
In the afternoon we visited Antonia who lives on a beautiful mountain outside Sabadell. Antonia took us to a house where we fed turtles and gathered eggs from the chicken coup.
I ate 2 of those eggs for dinner and they were delicious.
My mom and I left Boston on Wednesday evening. Our wonderful friends Deb and Jasper brought us to the airport and wished us a ´Bon Voyage´.
First we flew 6 hours to London and landed at 6 in the morning on Thursday. We waited 5 hours in the airport to fly to Barcelona. Finally, after a 2 hour plane ride, we arrived! Anna picked us up at the airport and we were so tired!
Anna cooked a feast for lunch with Brenda, my cousin Clara and her friend (they are visiting from Geneva). Then I played for a long time until going to sleep for the whole night.
This morning mom and I woke up at 10:30! Now we feel much better.
I hope your nose isn't as runny as mine. Mom and I have been missing you. We hope you are feeling good in Bonn. Stay cool or warm - depending on the AC and heat wave conditions. Big hugs from the States!
For the 4th of July we rode our bikes to see the fireworks on the Charles River. Memorial Drive was closed to traffic and filled with people celebrating Independence Day. I stayed up very late and when the fireworks started I said, "No! No! No!" But when they stopped I pointed up to the sky and said "Boom boom! More!"
Last week I was busy with Maya and Grandma and Grandpa's visit so I forgot to post pictures of a few memorable experiences. . .
Here I am on July 3 with Dad and Mom (behind the camera) at Walden Pond.
After a hike around the pond, a picnic and a swim, we went to the de Cordova Sculpture Park. The giant sculptures were really cool. And this xylophone was my favorite.
